UNSEEN takes a deeper look into the photography of Justin Hardiman. His style evokes an eclectic yet minimal representation of lived experiences in his home state of Mississippi. Empowerment and resilience are strong themes in his work, which speak to a profound natural beauty in underrepresented aspects of his community. Justin’s work is inspired by his home–both familial and environmental. Hardiman’s debut exhibition UNSEEN features prints of digital works, some of which have already earned him a name in the global art world, with Mississippi as his muse.

Justin Hardiman is a self-taught freelance photographer and visual artist from Jackson, MS. A Jackson State University Alumnus and former basketball player, Justin had no idea his career path would take him in the direction of photography. His work has been featured in Harper Bazaar Magazine, Buzz Feed, Clarion Ledger, and ASOS Magazine to name a few. His work has been displayed in Time Square and on the Jimmy Fallon Show. He's collaborated with artists such as Leon Bridges, King Fish, Solange, Kirby, Four Washington, Dear Silas and many others.
